Hello and thanks for checking out  my new blog! Many of you know i’ve been a commercial photographer for (well, lets just say, a LOT of years now).. at least a couple of years before the new millenium and before everything went digital. I’m from the age of learning how to light balance, shoot sheet film and knowing how to shoot it right in the camera and not relying on ‘post’. I know what fixer smells like and have memories of standing in the darkroom for hours on end, something I actually sort of miss! Although I’ve moved on from film and have been shooting digital for well over 10 years, I think my core knowledge of photography is something you don’t find with all the new pop-up photographers  you see everywhere these days.  Today I’m launching my new website and blog with a whole new re-focused vision. In the process of my re-inventing myself and focusing my business, I asked myself what do I love about photography. My answers were all over the place, I love to shoot food, people, architecture, beautiful details. Somewhere along the way in my process it dawned on my that weddings  and events incorporated all that I love and all that i’m passionate about. I’m excited to share with you a few images from some weddings I have done over the years and I look forward to continuing to share all of the exciting events i’ll be taking on. I will still be taking commercial work of course, as well as corporate head shots and editorial work, but the main focus of my website will be events.
